Drama Drama Review

“Family Plan” – You don’t have to be related by blood to create a real family.

What is this drama about?

A mysterious family of five moves to a new town where things aren’t going too well. No one knows anything about the new arrivals, except that they run an animal clinic. No one even suspects that this seemingly ordinary family hides a secret and extraordinary abilities that can make people’s lives hell on earth.

Sometimes I like to watch a twisted story and this drama fits perfectly into this genre. It was a strange drama. An absorbing story, at times deadly funny and unfortunately quite brutal. I had a problem with this brutality and I won’t hide it, I was avoiding these scenes a bit or covering the screen so that I could only see the subtitles.

Contrary to appearances, this is a drama that mainly tells about a family full of unrelated weirdos. They have been living together for many years in hiding and trying to create something they never had.

Elders care about their whole mess holding together and resembling a real family. The mother cares most about the children having a normal life. Some people accuse her of a lack of emotions, but that’s not true. From the beginning, we can see how much she loves these children and how attached she is to her husband. She can’t show emotions because no one taught her how, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have them.

The whole family unites over time in the face of danger. They realize that each can count on the other, and the mother is ready to protect them all at the cost of her own life. This drama is based on this character. The scenes when she uses her extraordinary abilities are very brutal but also satisfying. She creates hell for people who previously created hell for others.

It was a good 6 episodes. Everything was in the right proportions, no long episodes, a lot of action and interesting characters. They messed with my head in the last few minutes and with that phone call from the “mother” they introduced more questions than answers. The drama could have ended with a quiet dinner over the corpse of a gangster and such a happy ending would be worthy of this family.

Who is this drama for?

For people who like unconventional stories, are not afraid of violence on screen and like dark humor.
