The Chinese drama “Back For You” surprised me in many ways, but especially visually. The entire thing is beautifully filmed, with very interesting shots, highly saturated colors, and a warmth and a unique softness radiating from the screen. Everything looks like a good old-fashioned comic book come to life. It’s incredible to watch. I took screenshots of some scenes while watching, so they’re a bit blurry, but I hope it gives you a sense of the wonderful atmosphere of this drama.
