What is this drama about?
A Lai works as a policeman. One day, while working undercover, he escapes from gangsters. At a critical moment, a young girl appears out of nowhere, saves him and faints. For a long time, she lies in a coma and A Lai watches over her bed. He reads her comics that he found in her bag. Over time, it turns out that the stories from the comics describe current criminal cases that he is working on. Who is the girl in the coma and how is it possible that she knows the solutions to these murders?
I have been waiting for this drama since I saw that Wang Anyu plays in it. I like him a lot and he did a great job here too. Together with Angelababy, you will create a great duo, despite the fact that she was in a coma for half of the drama:)).
At first, I didn’t know what it was about, I had to get into the rhythm of this drama. The whole thing consists different stories from comics. Each has different characters and tells a different story. Some of them are love stories, but most of them are murder stories that A Lai dealt with. They are all interesting and twisted in their own way. At times it was very dark and mysterious, I admit that I had shivers down my spine a few times. In my opinion, the most interesting cases are the ones with the writer, teleportation and the father and son.
The drama is visually beautiful. The colors are vivid but warm, and the shots are amazing. I watched this drama like some kind a fairy tale from the times of the Chinese republic. I recommend it to everyone, because in my opinion it is a very original and interesting drama. I had a good time watching it. Thanks to many stories we have the opportunity to admire many different actors and this also gave the drama a better quality. The only thing I didn’t like was the dubbing, but you can get used to it.
