What is this drama about?
Kim Mi Gyeong (LeeSunBin) has been working in a farm laboratory for several years, researching potatoes. Her dream is to create a new type of potato and name it after herself. Her company is a well-known producer of chips and is unexpectedly bought by a large corporation. It turns out that Mi Gyeong used to work for them and doesn’t remember it fondly. In time, a temporary director arrives at the lab to examine the employees’ performance and see what they do. So Baek Ho (KangTaeOh) is very calm, cool and exceptionally rational. He makes all his decisions based on data. Into his orderly world enters the chaotic Mi Gyeong, who, on top of that, is prejudiced against him and makes his life difficult at every turn.

It was a truly enjoyable drama. Every weekend after dinner, I’d happily sit in front of the TV and drift off to the land of eternal potato. Kang Tae Oh looked divine in his suits. His shirts fit him perfectly, and his trousers accentuated his figure perfectly. He and FL made a great duo; they were like fire and water. What I loved most about this drama was the rural atmosphere and humor. ML excelled in the comedic moments. Overall, their whole crazy lab was fantastic.

My favorite character in this drama was definitely Director So Baek Ho, who is not only incredibly handsome but also incredibly composed. He tried to handle all the setbacks in his new job with dignity. Many things surprised him, but despite this, he didn’t get too upset and, over time, accepted the conditions he had to work in. There’s no negative trait about him. He’s a bit stubborn, but that’s not a flaw. Compared to him and his stoic approach to the world, Mi Gyeong looks like a complete lunatic. She’s hyperactive, constantly shouting, and doesn’t care what others think. I hope her relationship with Baek Ho will calm her down a bit and give him some spontaneity. Besides the main couple, there are plenty of other characters who provide a very entertaining backdrop. The new director’s fight with the village landowners is one of the funniest moments in this drama. It may not be a great drama, but it’s enough to keep you entertained. I’m also glad there were no toxic exes or awkward love triangles. I hope there are more dramas like this, lighthearted and funny. These 12 episodes were enough.
