Today I would like to write to you about a very unpopular drama which, in my opinion, deserves more attention.
What is this drama about?
Red Ho is a bored accountant who has a plan for her 30-year life – to buy her own apartment and marry her boyfriend. Unfortunately, on her birthday, instead of proposing, her boyfriend tells her that he is leaving her for another woman. Red begins to vent her relationship frustrations on social media. Her merciless statements about her ex-boyfriend are starting to arouse more and more interest in people.
I came across this drama by accident on HBO Max. I did not expect that I would get a really nice and funny story of a young girl. The biggest asset of this drama is Red and her group of friends, which includes two close friends and her ex-brother-in-law. All three of them support Red in various ways in her love and professional turbulence, because her new boss is driving Red crazy. Along the way, we also learn about their complicated love lives.
Taiwanese dramas have the advantage of not being afraid to openly discuss more intimate topics. I have to admit that they can also be very funny. While watching Red’s adventures, I cried with laughter several times.
I am really looking forward to the second season of Red’s adventures, because at the end of the first season something started to blossom.
The drama is short, 13 episodes x 25 minutes, but really worth watching.
