What is this drama about?
A young ethics teacher, Yun Bom, moves to a small rural town after a difficult experience in Seoul. She tries to be invisible to others and refuses to allow herself to enjoy life. One day, she meets the guardian of one of the students, Seon Jae Gyu, a well-built man whom the school staff has always suspected of gangster activities. However, the reality is quite different. Seon Jae Gyu is a simple-minded, honest, and very helpful resident. Thanks to him, Yun Bom begins to open up to the outside world and the people around her.

This was a truly enjoyable drama. Lately, I’ve been enjoying K-dramas set in the countryside, which have an extraordinary charm both in terms of the scenery (here, the sea) and the simple and sincere people. It’s one of those stories where you know how it will end, but you still enjoy watching it.

This is definitely my favorite role of Ahn Bo-Hyun. As an uncle, he was a simple, easygoing guy with a huge heart and a good head on his shoulders, and those tight T-shirts will forever remain in my memory. It’s no secret, Ahn Bo-Hyun has incredible physique, and it would be a sin not to show it;). He and Lee Joo Bin made a great duo, and I wasn’t so sure about it. It’s a truly great comedy; I laughed out loud many times (the over-the-top scene at the vet was especially hilarious:)))). Of all the characters, little Bom-sik definitely stole my heart. He’s the cutest dog in the world. I also enjoyed the frenemies-like relationship between Seon Jae Gyu and Choi I-Jun. Ultimately, I was pleasantly surprised by the lawyer, even though I was afraid he’d cause problems.

My least favorite part was the teenage storyline, as the perpetually grumpy teenage girl annoyed me. However, overall, I give it a very high rating. It’s a light, sweet romantic comedy that’s meant to be entertaining, above all. It also touched on more serious themes, but they didn’t overwhelm the drama’s positive aspects.
The drama delivered a very enjoyable finale that left me smiling :))).
I highly recommend it.
