I’ve noticed that 90s fashion has been making a comeback lately. I’m hearing more and more about the nostalgic return to those years. I decided to watch the drama “My Page in 90’s” mainly because of Wang Yuwen, whom I really like. She’s a great actress and a beautiful woman. I was surprised by her very interesting fashion styles in this drama. It’s hard to say how faithful they are to the fashion of that era in China, but the inspiration from global 90’s trends is clear. I would wear many of her clothes without hesitation today. A key element of her wardrobe are her signature headbands. I wore them myself in the 90’s.
The fashion styles of Gao Haiming, the main character of this drama, are also worth mentioning. He appears in numerous suits and colorful ties (typical of the era), and his favorite wardrobe item is definitely a turtleneck.
The drama itself is a very enjoyable piece of entertainment, and the fashion adds a nostalgic charm.
