I discovered GLEN CHECK thanks to my favorite drama “School 2017”. Their great dance song “Pacific” appeared briefly in the first episode. Once I found out who the author was, I immediately dug the entire YouTube to listen to something more. That’s how I found their last album THE GLEN CHECK EXPERIENCE and I fell in love with it. This album is very different from the earlier ones (more lively ones). THE GLEN CHECK EXPERIENCE is definitely calmer and much more climatic. I don’t know much about music, so it’s hard for me to give this album a specific style (information on Wikipedia – “psychedelic rock, old school hip hop, acid jazz, and techno”). I tried to choose my favorite song from this album, but it was a very difficult task, because each of them is unique in its own way. Recently, the boys from GLEN CHECK released a new song in the same climate (“Velvet Goldmine”) and I have to say that they are still holding the level. A big plus is that they perform their works in English. I highly recommend it to everyone. Just try and you’ll love it!
GLEN CHECK – a band from South Korea, which was established in 2011. It consists of Kim June-One (vocal and guitar) Kang Hyuk-Jun (bass and synthesizer).
